Loretta Howard Gallery is pleased to present its annual Gallery Review. The painting and sculpture on display represent the gallery stable and reflect a continued focus on New York school artists who came to prominence in the 1950s and 1960s. The exhibition will include important Color Field paintings by Friedel Dzubas, Thomas Downing, Gene Davis, and Larry Poons as well as a canvas from Optical Artist Richard Anuszkiewicz. The gallery’s continued dedication to re-investigating the history of Abstract Expressionism is evidenced by works from Norman Bluhm, Nicolas Carone, Edward Dugmore, Shirley Goldfarb, and Cleve Gray. Also included will be sculptures by esteemed Minimalists Ronald Bladen and George Sugarman.
The Loretta Howard Gallery is particularly known for its historical exhibitions and scholarly catalogs. In addition to advising private clients and representing a stable of storied historical artists and estates, the gallery is pleased to work with important mid-career artists David Row and Joel Perlman.
